Condo Community New Roof in Milwaukee

This large, historic condo community on the East Side of Milwaukee needed some work. As part of a winter special for this condo community new roof, JM Remodeling did a complete condo roof tear off and replacement including installation of .060 E.P.D.M. rubber, which has proven long term performance, durability and flexibility. Intricate metal work (counter flashing), ice and water shield, which offers leak protection to trouble-prone spots and is used as an underlayment to help sloped roofs resist water penetration due to wind-driven rain or water back-up resulting from ice dams. Something that is common during Wisconsin winters. This issue was a particularly problem area for many homes in 2007-2008 when Milwaukee saw a record 96" of snow! A seamless aluminum gutter system and installation of soffit vents for proper intake of roof ventilation are both aesthetically pleasing as well as long term, and maintenance free solutions. An extensive amount of custom carpentry was also done to finish this project. The roof was finished off with 30-year dimensional shingles, providing a thicker and richer appearance on the roof. With the new roof, gutters, flashing, and ice and water shield, this historic condo is prepared to be around for decades to come and look great.
